How to grow 10x faster by picking the right battlefield

Field of View isn’t the flashiest of settings like Graphics Quality or sensitivity, but it’s still important. It defines how wide your vision is and can often determine who or what is lurking just outside your sight. The settings below are the most critical in influencing how your FOV can perform for you.

1. Field of View

Poor Peripheral Vision:
You can’t shoot what you can’t see, and it’s often that what you can’t see is what kills you. People hang out on the fringes of your vision, where they should be visible but aren’t.

How Field of View Solves Poor Peripheral Vision:

  • You can take in more of what’s around you without having to physically turn and expose a flank.
  • This extra field of view scales outward over distance as well, giving you a much wider horizon.
  • There’s less of a chance of someone sneaking up on you from the side.

How to Apply Field of View

  • Open the Options menu either in-game or from the Main Menu and select ‘Video.’
  • There should be two sub-menus, ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ – the FOV slider will be under ‘Basic.’
  • Navigate down to the FOV slider, it should be a white bar with a number to the left of it.
  • Raise the bar by clicking and dragging until the number reaches 74, which equates to a FOV value of 90.

2. HUD Motion

Unreadable Information:
HUD Motion looks neat; by swinging and jostling the HUD elements in response to explosions and other combat scenarios, it gives Battlefield a sense of chaos and destruction. But as it translates to gameplay, this effect can sometimes make ammo counts, spot markers, crosshairs, and other HUD elements impossible to read in intense situations.

How HUD Motion Solves Unreadable Information:

  • All your information will stay still no matter what is going on in-game
  • You will no longer struggle to read information when an explosion knocks you off balance.
  • You’ll have an easier time focusing on what’s in front of you since you will have to expend less effort looking for information.

How to Disable HUD Motion

  • Open the Options Menu and select ‘Gameplay.’
  • Under the ‘Basic’ tab, navigate to HUD Motion
  • Set it to ‘Off.’

3. ADS Field of View

Inconsistent Field of View:
If you’re playing on a higher Field of View, which you should be, you might notice a huge difference in that Field of View when you switch from hip-fire to Aiming-Down-Sights. This jarring reduction in Field of View can be the kiss of death when your crosshairs finally line up on a target only for you to get cut down by someone off to the side.

How Enabling ADS Field of View Solves Inconsistent Field of View:

  • Your ADS Field of View will be tied to your base Field of View, meaning that consistency will be achieved whether aiming or not.
  • You will still preserve the FOV you’re running with, meaning you won’t lose vision upon ADS.
  • You will save your eyes from the jarring change in vision, allowing you to focus on what’s important.

How to Apply ADS Field of View

  • Open the Options Menu and select ‘Video.’
  • Under the ‘Basic’ tab, navigate down to ‘ADS Field of View’ and set it to ‘On.’

4. Vehicle 3P Field of View

Sneaky Infantry and Flanking Fire:
In a tank, you should be able to deal with most head-on threats, it’s the sneaky flanking attacks from the rear that require special attention. Often, it’s humble infantry that sneaks a critical disabling shot, something that can be avoided with proper situational awareness.

How Vehicle 3P Field of View Solves Sneaky Infantry and Flanking Fire:

  • While in a vehicle, your third-person Field of View will be dramatically wider, even more so than as infantry.
  • This extra vison will let you see anyone trying to hide off to the side, as well as other armor that may be in the distance.
  • You will be able to see enemies trying to throw Sticky Dynamite on your rear armor, effectively canceling out a popular anti-tank tactic.

How to enable Vehicle 3P Field of View

  • Open the Options Menu and select ‘Video.’
  • Under the ‘Basic’ navigate down to Vehicle 3P Field of View
  • Set the slider to the maximum value

5. Camera Shake Scale

Distracting Camera Shake:
Explosions, tumbling buildings, and other combat stimuli will shake your character’s vision and make things almost impossible to make out. So, while it looks cool and cinematic, it also only gets in the way and offers no advantage whatsoever.

How Disabling Camera Shake Scale Solves the Problem:

  • You can’t fully turn off Camera Shake, but the amount you can turn it off does wonders for keeping everything as clear as possible in firefights.
  • Your aim will be thrown off a lot less if an explosion goes off nearby.
  • Your gameplay will be less chaotic, the action in front of you will be less disturbed and easier to manage.

How to Disable Camera Shake Scale

  • Open the Options Menu and select ‘Gameplay.’
  • Under the ‘Advanced’ tab, navigate down to ‘Camera Shake Scale.’
  • Set the slider to 50%, which is the minimum,

So, while FOV might be one of the more ‘base’ settings to tweak in-game, it can also be one of the most critical. By now, you should be able to tweak your FOV settings to suit your unique playstyle. If you liked this, stick around, and read some more:

Why do investors sell their most valuable stocks and hold onto those declining in value? How does an airline pilot decide the right course of action when trying to land a disabled plane?

Science writer Jonah Lehrer tries to tackle these questions–and more like them–in his newly released book How We Decide. Drawing on both recent and long-established findings in neuroscience, Lehrer portrays the brain as a highly complicated machine constantly working to solve daily puzzles and problems, often without the conscious consent of its owner.

In Depth: How To Make Better Decisions

Lehrer argues that the better we understand the brain’s biological prerogative, the better able we are to make the right decisions. This includes everything from choosing which cereal or car to buy to knowing when to cut our losses in the stock market. In the end, he says, humans have the power to short circuit trouble-causing impulses and to free themselves of repeating mistakes.

The Brain’s Biological Mandate
Modern scientists have been studying the brain in earnest for decades, but only the recent advent of powerful imaging and scanning technology has allowed them to look closely at brain function as information is processed. Such insight has confirmed what researchers suspected: The brain loves to predict outcomes and is rigged with a neurotransmitter known as dopamine to enable this process.

“At a very deep existential level, we love to know what’s going to happen next,” says Lehrer.

Dopamine neurons are instrumental since they track expectations and outcomes, surging when we enjoy a positive experience and decreasing when we are disappointed. This trigger is both a blessing and a curse, however. It teaches the brain to make decisions based on an inherent reward, but the pursuit of that satisfaction can spin out of control into addiction or otherwise harmful behavior.

Playing slot machines, for example, can deliver a high reward and engage the brain’s neurons in trying to solve the logic of the winning combination. But slot machines are also fundamentally unpredictable. Developing an obsession with them can waste your time and money.

The good news is that dopamine neurons are also programmed to learn from their mistaken predictions. The lessons are even more powerful, says Lehrer, when errors are not just noticed, but rigorously analyzed time and again. Without this constant monitoring, the brain is prone to repeating its poor choices.

When presented with a choice or problem, the brain calls on several distinct parts to analyze the incoming information. There are emotional and rational responses, and even contrarian ones, which is why humans prize certainty. The brain is built to generate different reactions at once.

There are many conditions that influence the decision-making process, but one of the most important may be mood. In a 2006 study, cognitive neuroscientist Dr. Mark Jung-Beeman evaluated how 79 happy and unhappy participants solved word problems. Those with a positive attitude solved 20% more puzzles than their less happy counterparts.

While those in bad moods can still solve problems, says Jung-Beeman, anxiety may narrow their perception of potential solutions. A positive outlook, however, tends to widen it.

The Emotional-Rational Balance
Jung-Beeman, who is a professor at Northwestern University, has also studied the process of creative decision making and found that good outcomes are often the result of using both insight and analysis. Insight and intuitive thought seem to develop suddenly, while our rational thought tends to work more like a calculator, making comparative assessments of data.

Both approaches recruit somewhat different parts of the brain, and knowing when to alternate between the two is a learned talent.

For the airline pilot trying to land a disabled plane, a frequent subject of Lehrer’s book, making choices under pressure requires listening to the intuition alerting the brain to a potential problem. But what’s also necessary is clearing the mind of panicked thoughts so that it can recall previous mistakes and zero in on a short list of good solutions.

Most of us rarely face such harrowing decisions, but we do struggle to make basic, daily choices. That may be because the “rational brain,” known as the pre-frontal cortex, can handle just four to nine separate pieces of data at once before it begins to oversimplify the problem and focus on irrelevant details as a way of narrowing the choices. The unconscious brain, in contrast, processes much more information than that and is often the source of instincts and emotions that influence our decision making.

If you liked this story, read:

The limitations of the rational brain mean that we need to learn to identify when we are gravitating toward the wrong solution, says Lehrer. Studies of consumers weighing numerous factors, for example, have shown that excessive analysis led to worse decisions than when relying on intuition to make a final choice. The opposite was true for those considering just a few factors: Analysis served them far better than instinct.

It’s simple advice, but decisions often remain difficult when the brain distorts our perception of the potential risks. Loss aversion, or the tendency to irrationally fear loss, has led to many bad decisions, according to Lehrer. Examples include poor choices among investors who often sell high-performing stocks and keep ones that have decreased in value because they fear absorbing the loss of the worse stocks.

Dr. Antonio Damasio, director of the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California, has found this phenomenon can be averted with reflection and practice. Where financial losses are concerned, performing a simple calculation that demonstrates a relative gain is often enough to convince the mind that a risk is worthwhile.

But like with everything in neuroscience, applying that insight to everyday life is all about timing and context.

“In light of our financial collapse,” says Damasio, “loss aversion looks pretty good to me.”

How Data Monetization Can Add Value To Your Analytics

Predictive analytics has played a key role in numerous marketing functions, particularly Instagram growth tools. A large number of organizations have used Google Trends to forecast future revenue growth and identify the most lucrative keywords to focus on. However, there are other predictive analytics applications that have received far less attention. Nevertheless, these functions are equally important.

Instagram marketing is one of the newest fields that rely on predictive analytics. A growing number of tools are being developed, which help companies grow their Instagram presence. These tools rely on sophisticated algorithms that understand user behavior and analyze it to make bold predictions that influence their marketing campaigns.

Instagram Growth Tools Are Highly Dependent on Big Data

Technology is an awesome thing. Through the development and use of new tools, we can accomplish tasks with greater efficiency. This leads to faster growth and more progress over time. So not only does technology make life easier, but greatly enriches it by allowing us to do more than previously possible.

It’s what helped us sail across oceans, conquer the sky, land on the moon, and connect the entire world under a single digital web. Big data has played a massive role in all of these fields. Many view the internet as one of the major frontiers left to be explored and fully harnessed. Social media in particular holds an incredible amount of potential. In order to do the job, however, we’re going to need the right tools.

A few months ago I discovered an impressive tool called SocialCaptain. I think will appeal to all of the Instagram users out there, as it’s one of the best growth services I’ve seen for the platform. That’s largely due to their use of state-of-the-art technology, which I will detail in the following review. It was made possible with massive advances in big data.

Predictive Analytics Makes it Easier to Work Smarter, Not Harder to Grow Your Instagram Presence

You’ve probably heard the axiom above countless times before. While it might seem like just another cliche saying, there is a lot of truth to it. If you can find a way to do something quicker or with less effort, yet still achieve the same level of results, then you should absolutely pursue it.

This brings us to Instagram growth tools like SocialCaptain, an automation service that uses artificial intelligence to increase your follower count. It does this by finding other users, reaching out to them, and interacting with their posts.

It’s a service aimed towards anybody who wants to gain more recognition on Instagram, whether they are an artist, a business, or an influencer. You hardly even have to do anything, other than set it up and maybe check on it occasionally.

A Learning Machine

Machine learning is an algorithmic method in which a robot is able to teach itself and become smarter. For a few people, this might sound kinda spooky. I mean, most of us has already seen Terminator and know about Skynet, right?

Don’t panic. It’s nowhere as scary as it might sound. It’s all pretty normal in practice, and actually quite fascinating to watch. It probably won’t do any sweet motorcycle stunts like Arnie, though.

Social media growth AI applies machine learning algorithms as a way to improve its functions. It analyzes its own collected data, and recalibrates itself to formulate more effective strategies. So, in a way, you could even say that it thinks almost like a person would.

Targeting Your Audience

How to grow 10x faster by picking the right battlefield

SocialCaptain also has top-notch targeting filters when pitted against its competition. You can customize the settings to make it concentrate its efforts on specific groups of users. It can also directed to only interact with posts within a certain date range, that are from a distinct location, or contain specific types of media.

I’d say that targeting is actually the most important part of automation. It usually takes longer to search for users that seem likely to enjoy your content than it does to hit the like or follow button. Automation can do all of those actions in an instant once it’s been properly set.

Cheaper Than The Manual Route

Consider for a moment if you were to hire somebody to do the work of an automation tool. That would involve them working every minute of the day, without any sleep or interruption at all. This includes zero holidays, vacations, or sick days. An impossible dream, no?

When you frame it like that, automation is an extraordinary deal. It’s like hiring a superhuman who is entirely dedicated to their job and works for pennies every hour.

SocialCaptain is accommodating when it comes to pricing, as are many Instagram growth tools. You can go with a basic package for either $15 per week or $39 per month. Then, if you really want to hit some ridiculous growth speeds, you can go with the Turbo plan for $99 per month. That option is 10x faster than the others.

In Conclusion: Predictive Analytics Make Instagram Growth Tools Possible

Advances in predictive analytics have had a profound impact on Instagram branding strategies. They are changing the future in numerous ways. What will be the final impact on social media marketing?

Brilliant, Do it with bolt action and I might be impressed. Semi-autos aren’t snipers.

only reason i didnt get top recon is cuz the other guy did the same thing you did and ran around with a holo sight on a DMR and decided to be assault

Lt_Baker540 said:
^ I hate you guys. You make me want to put you at the end of a range with a Semi Auto and Bolt Action and see if you like either one being shot at you. I bet you wont be a fan of either.

LOL you sure you’ll hit me?

losbleachlover4 said:
HAHA semi auto noob, bet you panic when they start getting close to you so you need that spray to kill them LOL

At Recon: Yes. It’s my job to shoot. So with an M16 I can shot 34 of 40, With an M4 36 of 40, and while I’ve never qualified with any kind of sniper rifle. I got some rifles at home and I do go hunting so on a range I’m positive I can hit you. from 300 meters plus.

At losbleach: Nope. Most of my misses come from suppressing. Something that most people think is stupid, but helps your team out a lot when they want to flank or bum rush them. It’s all about PTFO. Thats what I did.

BTW. I play this game to waste time and have fun. So TBH. If you make fun of people for what they use in game. Turn your console back on and yell at all the “noobs” and tell people in real life about your “epic awesomeness” in Battlefield. Then when you grow up join your countries military and go to a real battlefield.

Chapter 47: Exploring the Battlefield

Han took 2 cleaning robots and decided to go take a look at the battlefield that Old Mo and Pathless have talked so much about.

Both robots are crawler-type, suitable for moving in complicated terrain. Their arms carry digging tools, and because they don’t have logic chips implanted, they look kind of dumb, only capable of listening to orders. Han told them to go sit on the car and wait for him, and they ran to the car and waited there like a good boy.

Old Mo told Han that the robot Han’s in right now used to be the most advanced model in the old days, named R7, made from high level tritanium alloy, has an identical body of human, with arms and legs, height at 1.8 meter, connected and controlled using the dark net communication port.

After getting ready, Han waved goodbye at Old Mo and Pathless, stepped down on the gas petal, and the vehicle rushed onto the steel chained bridge towards the battleground remain.

Old Mo commanded the rest of the robots to start picking out the equipment that Han wanted, and pack them all into his sketchy industrial transporting ship, waiting to leave the planet to get them cleansed first before sending them to Earth.

In the blink of an eye Han has already traveled very far, Old Mo’s base became a small black dot behind him, and in front of him is the limitless desert. After the cruel nuclear explosion, the land has become completely lifeless, only Old Mo and maybe the robots count as the only life on this planet.

The vehicle is called a Land Speeder, a very common mean of transportation in Milky Way. It has no wheels, uses magnetic suspension system to float about 1 meter off the ground, with 2 high-powered jet turbo engines providing the Speeder the necessary propulsion, capable of traveling up to 3000 kmh.

Old Mo’s Land Speeder doesn’t have a top and also carries a cargo box like a truck. It looks really simple, but after all, he’s an engineer that can even repair the complicated robotic devices. With his tuning, the land speeder has excellent performance and great drifting speed, topping it off with powerful jet engine that set off a huge amount of sand behind them as it roars.

Han controlled a robot to drive the land speeder, so the air resistance and noises were not a threat to him, allowing him to fully enjoy the pleasure of speed. After only 2 hours, they arrived at the heart of the battle field.

Here he saw the land clouded with giant craters that resulted from bomb explosions. Some of these bombs didn’t detonate on the ground but in the air instead, releasing super shockwaves capable of shattering the internal organs of soldiers to create more casualties.

The large empire level countries in Milky Way have incredible strength. At this war between Zi Zhu Empire and Luo Lan Republic, just espers alone, both sides putted in as much as 20 million. In comparison, Earth has at most 15 thousand espers, and that’s including those non-combat ones like the esper that can grow more teeth or do math faster. It’s clear to see, the huge gap that exists between Earth and those great powers in Milky Way.

It was said that the most powerful countries in Milky Way – the 12 permanent members of the Milky Way Alliance, each has at least 100 million espers. For countries with such strength, destroying Earth is as easy as stretching fingers.

The ancient battlefield has a long history, coupled with the robots led by Old Mo that have being here for decades, there wasn’t any remaining equipment in sight.

In fact, Han also knew that it would be impossible for him to find anything valuable on this ancient battlefield because they would’ve long been taken away by Old Mo. Now he just want to get a feel of the atmosphere of the battlefield.

Despite the battlefield now looking like a deserted desert, there is one thing that will not die out because of time but grow more and more intense, and that is the soldiers’ indomitable soul.

The wind blows and the water gets cold, warriors leave home but never return. The barren desert filled with a chill atmosphere, the warriors that fought bravely here in the past have died, but their souls are still here wandering. Before the dark and stormy night, the sound of wind on the desert is their lamentation. (TL: translated from a Chinese poem)

Han imagined the scenes of the war that year, picturing rivers of blood running on the desert. Before he knew it, he has driven past the heart of the battlefield and came to the end of the desert, facing layers and layers of mounds.

Han stopped beside a mound, he looked at the time and 5 hours have already passed. Blazing past over 10,000 kilometers, it is very hard for people that aren’t personally experienced to understand the joy Han had riding that Land Speeder.

Although Han knew that it’s highly unlikely that he will harvest anything, but after all, for a journey on the battlefield, he should at least get something as a souvenir. He’s really not reconciled to go home empty-handed, even finding a dagger to bring back is good enough for him.

So, Han decided to enter the hilly area.

Driving in the desert just need speed, but driving in this hilly terrain requires more skills. Han slowed down his speeder and advanced along the valley between the hills. A sudden turn will drift up the center of gravity of the speeder, adding on a thrilling pleasure that wasn’t present in the desert.

Two more hours quickly flew by, Han still hasn’t made any discovery. Not even the main battlefield have any more remnants, not to mention this region outside the battlefield.

“Well, it’s not early anymore, time to go back.”

Thinking about that, Han tilted the steering wheel and got ready to turn back to the camp.

After all, Han is still a beginner at driving land speeder. He rushed between the hills and was a little anxious when making a quick turn, after hurtling sideways the speeder actually couldn’t stop and began to quickly drifting sideways.”

“Shit! Too much speed!”

Han cursed, quickly activating the brake. At the presence of an opposite force, the speeder began to react by shaking violently, sending dirt flying all over the sky.

The speeder finally came to a difficult stop only a few meters away from a small mound, barely avoiding collision, the scene was breathtaking.

Han turned his head to check on the robots. Crap, he and the land speeder are okay, but those two robots got thrown out of the cargo container due to a shift in gravity, landing head first into a mound.

Han hurried and got off the speeder to dig out the two silly robots from the soil.

Suddenly Han froze, because as he dug out the robots and pulled them out of the dirt, he noticed that the dirt wall is actually hollow inside. There is a cave with its entrance covered by dirt, and as Han dug out the soil layer he was able to see the cave from a top corner.

“Come, let’s dig open this hole and take a look.” Han asked the two crawler-type robots.

So, Han and the two robots struggled as they finally opened up an entrance big enough for them to fit, then the robot opened a flash light and accompanied Han into the cave.

The cave is a natural formation, not large in area. The nuclear explosion that year possibly shook off the top layer soil, blocking the entrance to the cave.

I had just finished lecturing to my technology entrepreneurship class about strategies in networked industries recently when I learned of a young business called Flashnotes.com — an Internet site that matches students who need academic materials like lecture notes, flashcards, and tutoring assistance with students who provide those materials. The company provides a good example of an entrepreneur who has adopted a strategy that fits his business model.

That’s important. While choosing the right strategy won’t guarantee success, not doing so will assure failure.

These days a lot of new high-tech companies are two-sided platforms based on network effects. That’s econ-speak for a business model in which each side benefits from increases in the number of participants on the other side. The classic example is eBay. The value of selling on eBay increases with the number of buyers on the platform, and the value of buying increases with the number of sellers present.

Industries based on network externalities tend to be winner-take-all. Because the value of using the platform increases with the number of participants, once one platform in the market reaches critical mass, users typically converge on it, and abandon the alternatives.

In this type of market, attracting a large number of people to your platform quickly is central to business success. Therefore, startups in this space tend to follow a grow-huge-fast-or-die strategy.

That brings me back to Flashnotes. Given its business model, the company needs to increase the number of people using its platform quickly.

The company’s strategy is aligned with that goal. It has acquired several other peer-to-peer academic materials websites; used viral marketing to get out the message about its platform to buyers and sellers of academic materials, and partnered with a textbook publisher and professors to drive students to the site.

When growing a two-sided platform, entrepreneurs must ensure that both sides expand proportionately. Too much growth on the seller side and there won’t be enough buyers, leaving sellers unhappy. Too much growth on the buyer side and there won’t be enough sellers, leaving buyers dissatisfied.

The ease of joining a platform is rarely identical on both sides, requiring the platform owner to subsidize one side’s growth to keep pace with the other. In Flashnotes’ case, any student with a credit card can become a buyer, but only people with good lecture notes can become sellers. Therefore, Flashnotes needs to work harder to attract sellers than buyers. That’s why the company has rewarded sellers of class notes with upfront payments for simply posting their study materials on the site, and has set up the Learning Scholar’s program with publisher partner Cengage to attract more student sellers.

Of course, growing a platform fast is expensive. So it makes sense that the founder of Flashnotes, Mike Matousek, has raised money from venture capitalists, rather than trying to bootstrap the business. Giving up equity to investors isn’t always the right choice, but when you need a lot of capital to grow fast, then tapping VCs makes a lot of sense.

Entrepreneurs’ strategic choices have an asymmetrical effect on their startups’ success. Picking the right strategy won’t guarantee that an entrepreneur will become rich. Too many things (including luck) have to come together for a given start-up to become the next Apple, Google, or Facebook. But picking the wrong strategy will almost certainly ensure failure.

That’s why it’s good to see a young company like Flashnotes following the right strategy for its industry. While the company may not win the entrepreneurial lottery, at least its founder hasn’t thrown away his ticket.

Officers are in essence, similar to what you call heroes in other similar RPS game. They are key figures that usually lead your troops in battle, and basically the ones that provide additional boosts. In this game however, each officer also particularly lend you specific combinations of skills while taking part in Special Operation, as well as impart to you an added benefit when having them commissioned or assigned in special functions in your command center. Take note too that in order to join operations like the Special Operation and Battlefield Expedition (gather resources), you need to have at least one officer to lead your troop.

Suppositionally, Officers have one of the most pivotal function in the game which is why you need to acquire them to help you progress. For this reason, it is most appropriate to say that they are one of game’s key objectives if you want to strengthen your army and increase your power.

(Officers provide great bonuses on different fields in the game. Some give you benefits in the construction of your Command Center, and others render additional buffs on battles like this one as seen on the image above.)

Some of the key importance of the officers are as follows:

-Attribute of the squad is basically determined by the officer you picked to enter the scenario.
-Different Officers have different skills. While others impart you with a special attack skill, other officers are useful in healing your troops while in battle.

-Officer and Parade Ground determine the number of marching troops. That said, the total number of soldiers you have in an expedition is equivalent and commensurate to the total number of resource you’ll be able to collect per hour and per complete expedition.
-unlocked skills of exploring officers provide bonus for marching troops (additional attributes that basically heightens your marching speed, collection speed, and similar buffs)

(you’ll need Officers to lead your troops in order to attack enemy bases, or even simply perform battlefield operations like gathering of resources, and participating in different Corps activities)

Enlisted in the Departments (Command / Assign Officer):

Apart from using your officers in the special operations and during expedition, you may also use them in special fields where they can lend their expertise and give you bits of boosts in different things in the game. To do this, you simply enlist them in the “Departments” (the building in front of your HQ), and from there pick either to “Command” an officer or “Assign” it.

You’ll have to be past level 5 HQ before you actually get to build the Departments building, and then use your officers with their respective expertise. Not everyone though have the capacity to be useful in the departments. Usually, the game automatically suggests available officers for a particular assignment. Also, to be able to use the “Command” option, you’ll first have to reach level 8 HQ.

Assign – assigns an officer to a specific department to activate his/her special skills that basically improves some attributes. Depending on the type of officer, you can basically gain some boosts in either logistics, defense, military, or technology. Usually, the higher grade the officer is, the better and more useful boosts it provides.

Command – appoints an officer, or a combination of officers to a certain post in order to gain a particular improvement in your attribute. There are also specific combinations of officers to make, which when successfully paired together, they activate an extra attribute boost.

Acquiring Officers

Officers are not that hard to collect in the game. As a matter of fact, when you get past level 5 HQ, you’ll most likely have at least 5 officers. you’ll get your first officer as a token for the first time you spin on the “free recruit”. Some 3 more will be obtained (as rewards) by simply completing the first 20 levels of the Special Operation. Lastly, you’ll earn Victoria as you play through the game normally. After this, you can collect fragments from participating in the “Counterattack”, get it from rewards from certain days in the daily log-in, or as reward from doing different quests. Every 8 hours too, you get a free recruit spin — which normally rewards a random officer fragment, or a slight chance of getting a full officer. Basically though, there are 4 means to get a new officer;

1. Recruiting them – 1 Free spin every 8 hours with a slight chance to earn an officer
2. Fusing similar fragments – collecting the fragments through different means (daily log-ins, quests, free spins) and fusing together the similar ones that represents a particular officer.
3. From participating in Events – special events mostly task players with a series of objectives — which when fulfilled, rewards you with special officers.
4. Purchasing Specific Officers via IAPs – probably the easiest route to earn strong officers.
