Is Beyond Skyrim finished?
Beyond Skyrim is a very ambitious project that’s going to take a long time to develop. However, the modding team working on Beyond Skyrim aims to release new areas as they are completed. Currently, Beyond Skyrim includes Bruma – this is a region in Cyrodiil that’s just underneath Skyrim on the Tamriel map.

Can you go to Cyrodiil in Skyrim?
The Border Crossings are unmarked locations in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There are two crossings to Morrowind, one to Cyrodiil, and one to Hammerfell around the border of Skyrim. Two are found in the Falkreath Hold, with the others in The Rift and Eastmarch.
Is Beyond Skyrim Bruma worth it?
It’s wonderful, totally worth it. Yes, I once used my entire 5 GB limit but when Bruma came out I left it alone for a month or so but I couldn’t resist it any longer and deleted all my mods just to play it. I felt like I was playing Oblivion, I felt so at home.
Can I go to Morrowind in Skyrim?
One player crosses the line. Skyrim downloadable content may take us back to Morrowind and Cyrodiil. One Skyrim explorer found, near Riften (bottom right of the world map), a path that led to a stone archway and an invisible wall. Cyrodiil and the Imperial City were part of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
Will they remaster Morrowind?
Not only are they recreating the entirety of Oblivion in Skyrim’s game engine, but Morrowind is also getting unofficially remastered too.

Bruma is the capital city of County Bruma, located in the center of the county. The city lies near the border between Skyrim and Cyrodiil, and this is reflected in its mainly Nord population, as well as in its architecture and climate, which is relatively cold and snowy. The imposing Cathedral of St. Martin dominates the skyline and the central part of the city, while Count Desilus Carvain resides in the large castle in the western district. The Fighters Guild and the Synod maintain a guildhall and conclave respectively in the central district of the city.
The Bruma market in the southern district is made up of stalls run by a few of the local denizens: Gryfard Peton, an insecure Breton jeweler; Ananril, a Bosmer apothecary whom you can assist in collecting ingredients for, and Rilja Stone-Hearth, a Nord buyer and seller of Nordic artifacts who will task you with expanding her collection. In the shadow of the cathedral, by the southern wall is Fadel’s butcher shop A Cut Above, while near the eastern gate is Ice-Wind Traders, a general goods shop run by Cedus Perusius. In the northern part of town, near the guildhalls, is Northern Arms, a blacksmith shop run by Hulgard and his apprentice Eddvia Jucani.
Two inns provide bed and board for the weary traveler, at the opposite ends of the social spectrum. In the run-down southern district of the city, in the shadow of the cathedral, is the notorious bunkhouse The Restful Watchman. Run by Bentior, it is the watering hole of choice for Bruma’s poorer denizens, as well as a fair share of lowlifes and thugs. On the other hand, in the raised western quarter, nestled in between upper-class mansions, is the Jerall View Inn, run by Stantus Faleria and his wife Hjotra. The inn prides itself on its exceptional customer service, which includes a resident bard and bathhouse.
Outside the eastern gate you will find the Bruma Stables, where Ila the Upright will sell you a paint horse for 3000 gold, while just outside of the northern gate is a ramshackle slum. The area is ringed by wooden palisades and towers, and hosts a number of shacks, tents and campfires inhabited predominantly by impoverished refugees from Skyrim’s civil war.

Return to Cyrodill, 200 years after Oblivion.
You might remember the frosty city of Bruma from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, where, like the rest of the country of Cyrodiil at that time, its main order of business was the presence of all those pesky hell portals popping up all over the place. Thanks to Beyond Skyrim – Bruma, a massive Skyrim mod that releases today, you can now revisit Bruma and its surroundings some 200 years later, to a time when returning dragons are one of the main talking points.
As Chris mentioned last month, Beyond Skyrim – Bruma is the first part of the Beyond Skyrim – Cyrodiil project, which aims to recreate all of Oblivion’s Cyrodiil inside Skyrim, while moving the time period forward so that it’s contemporaneous with the fifth Elder Scrolls. Version 1.0 of Bruma, out today, is a mod bigger than Bethesda’s official Dragonborn DLC, boasting the city of Bruma and its surroundings, along with piles of new quests, three hours of original music, 24,000 lines of voice-over, and the ability to cross the border into Cyrodiil with your current character intact. It’s really, really big, in other words.
You’ll need Skyrim and all three expansion packs to play Bruma, or alternatively Skyrim’s Legendary Edition, and you’ll find comprehensive installation instructions on the mod’s Nexus page.

ThMadMax wrote:best mod ever I played. I have some questions: 1-I have Elswyr from legacy of the dragonborn mod. will it collide with your Beyond Skyrim:Elsweyr mod when you release it? 2- I also have hammerfell from the gray cowl of nocturnal mod. will it collide too? 😀 3- if I install rigmor of bruma mod, will there be 2 Brumas? 😀 4- I don’t even know if mods can collide 😀 😀 thank you for your help. I am not very good at modding and I don’t want to lose and thing about Beyond Skyrim 😀 I watched all of your videos from youtube 😀 if you say the mod “X” will collide with our “Y” mod, Then I will wait your mod and will not install “X” mod. 🙂 🙂
EmissaryOfInfinity wrote:Legacy of the Dragonborn and Rigmor of Bruma have actually been designed by the authors with Beyond Skyrim in mind! There’s been some special attention to make sure they’re compatible in the long run. I can’t comment on Grey Cowl, since that’s a fairly old mod at this point, but I will say that it’ll probably conflict lore-wise.

Whispers Of the Mountains quest is a broken quest- After you agree to help Astor and you go and place the boot and go back he ask you to use the portal; after you agree he gives you a soul gem and asks you to use the portal I use the one for which the quest marker states and it takes you to “Frost Crag spire Tower”. The quest doesn’t end or nothing.
And if it matters I installed it using MO2

Beyond Skyrim has had its first chapter released which includes the city of Bruma. Unfortunately, only those who manage to install a copy of the original The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, not the Special Edition, can enjoy the new mod. However, those who have the Skyrim Special Edition installed don’t have long to wait to get their chance at fun.
Beyond Skyrim: Bruma: What’s included in the mod?
Eventually, the Beyond Skyrim project aims to bring the rest of the Elder Scrolls world to the game. The objective is to model the rest of the world as it is while the events of Skyrim are taking place, making all the new sections of land tell stories that weave together with the original scenario by Bethesda. The first release includes the county of Bruma and parts of Eastern Cyrodil.
Beyond Skyrim: Bruma: When can I play the mod on Skyrim: Special Edition on PC and Xbox One?
Unfortunately, when the mod released, it was compatible with the original Skyrim only. Fortunately, a representative of the mod posted on Reddit that the mod would be updated within the week to be compatible with Skyrim: Special Edition, which is what most Steam users have in their library at this point. Additionally, they mentioned that they would be trying to get the mod added to the Skyrim mod library on Xbox One, which will allow those players to enjoy it as well.
Beyond Skyrim: Bruma: Why won’t the mod come to PlayStation 4?
PS4 players will be getting the short end of the stick when it comes to this mod. Sony doesn’t allow any mods on the PS4 that introduce any external assets, only those that reuse or modify existing ones. With the enormous scope of this mod, there’s no way to do it without new assets.
Beyond Skyrim, a mod working to bring various Tamriel provinces to the acclaimed RPG, has now added the city of Bruma to the map. Bruma is the Northmost city in Cyrodiil, and the mod boasts that players can “explore an expansive region larger and denser than the Dragonborn DLC.”
Beyond Skyrim: Bruma features over 70 residents with unique dialogue and stories, the fully-explorable county of Bruma, new weapons and armor, a ton of new quests and storylines, over 24,000 lines of voiceover from a professional cast, and over three hours of original music. Needless to say, this mod contains a wealth of content.
The best part is that Bruma is seamlessly integrated, meaning that players can cross over the border with their existing characters. You do not need to create a new game.
If players have already downloaded Bruma 1.0, they are encouraged to role back to the save game they had prior to starting Bruma as there were some missing scripts that caused some quests to fail to trigger. The hotfix was added in Bruma 1.1 but unfortunately they will not trigger properly on an existing save.
The base game and all DLC (or the Legendary Edition of Skyrim) is required to install the mod. For those wishing to take advantage of this expansive mod on consoles, the team says that it will be available for Skyrim: Special Edition soon, and on Xbox One in the future. This mod will be supported with frequent patches and the team is already working on adding the rest of Cyrodiil.
